    Update: Project NA B20A

Well guys I'm under pressure...I rolled out onto the highway after work last night and met a 1993 Mirage Cyborg R (Mivec)...He revved, I revved and it was on...I must have beat him to each light within the quarter mile distance by about 3 - 5 car lengths. I drove the car like an animal, every gear went in with an accompanied grate of steel on steel...at about the fourth light, he asked me what I was running...I smiled "A good mechanic!!!" I said....then revved to 3000rpm and jumped out of the hole like a mutha.....by 4th gear I slowed because I realised he had enough.
When I got home, I switched off and heard the most disturbing rattle...I thought that I had blown the engine. I spent hours after trying to fid the problem. It wasn't till this morning that I realised what was wrong...I busted every mount and broke the A/C bracket completely off...I never knew that the car could be so aggressive....so now I got to spend some money fixing up...there goes my nitrous fund.

To Justin, Funstick or whoever knows...where can I get some heavy duty bushings for our car.

So many on this board in the past have told the carb guys, "If you want power, then switch to EFI." Here's a guy that's switched to carbs from EFI, and his freaking motor rips out from the mounts. Now that's power! Soon the EFI guys will be asking, "how can I switch to carbs?" LOL

this what happens when u use the wrong head. if u know what i mean. hehehe, nah just kidding buddy. sorry to hear about yoru car, but to b honest, i never race with ricers if thats what the other dude was. cause they, have a 5spd and no matter if its a bmw or a hundai, they drive it like an asshole cause they dont know shit about how far u can push their cars. either way, look at the torque readings before u get an engine. an efi motor has 122 and the carb motor has 100 or 110 something like that. so anyways, do u know what u got on ur current motor? get an engine with higher torque and of course, newer engines have a higher hp.

why i am saying that is because juan (oldschoolswap) had a B16 put in and it has 160 hp, but the torque was 111 ft*lbs. even my A20A2 engine with an efi swap has more torque than that. besides, ours is a 2.0 when those are 1.6. am i right? either way, have fun

Look at his list of mods he should have quite a bit of power.

you are going about that all wrong.

how much torque does it put to the wheels. ive done the math and in 1st gear the LXi engine only has 3lbs more torque than the Si.
    the gearing is everything.

    if you wanna talk torque, a B17 has 117, a B18b-126, B18c5 a mere 127, but a built CRVtec can lay down 175 to the wheels .

although if you want a torque monster, build an H23 with a Vtec head.

    H23 (4WD Accord Wagon SiR-T)
I wouldn't mind trying to get a 4wheel drive conversion for the 3g
Then bump up the engine with dual carbs and some authentic MUGEN parts.
