    light wont pop up HELP ME :(

    alright i have a bit of a problem

    about a week and a half ago my right headlight stoped working on the low beam but worked on the high beam

    and LAST NIGHT the damn thing stoped going up when i turned the lights on...the left one will pop up but the right one wont and it feels all super loose like i can move it with my hand when its down and i can move it up and down

    do i need a new light? is the motor shot? help?

    try cranking the motor over by hand... there should be a rubber cover on it.

    if that works any idea how to make the low beam work?

    ::::::its an 86 LX-i hatch 5spd if that makes a difference::::::

    that sounds like u need a new bulb if the high works but the low dosent just sounds like the low beam filiment is gone

    Bulb, or a grounding problem, my right headlight quit working too, traced it to a wireing problem, but it doesn't affect my lights.....

    I have a new motor too if you need it, both sides....
    I can't read the signature rules so MrBen deleted my signature.

    check your retracter fuses in black box under the hood i had this problem myself a week and half ago where i would press the button but they would never go down.

    also there is a separate fuse for the high and low beams... you might have just blown the low beam.

    mine was doing the same thing...i checked it out and the nut that held the arm for the headlight came off so the arm was not even connected to the motor...might wanna check that out..
