CYP Sensor

My pgmfi light stays on, on my 89 lxi automatic

the (ecu?) flashes 9 times that code is for a cyp sensor...i was wondering what a cyp sensor is and where exactly is it at?

No. 1 Cylinder position is what i have gotten off the net, but no pics or anything telling me where it is

you need to replace the distributor.........is part od the distributor..
