    Exclamation vaccum hose

yall know the 2 vaccum hoses coming out of the dizzy.well i went to replace the tube and it came off , but it took the peace that hooks on to the dizzy with it. the little think that sticks out that the tube goes on . an i im deep shit , what can do to fix it without buying a new one? also when i just started it up i must have lost pressure somewhere cause it was running really badly . the longer i let it run the better it got. its making sorta a popping noise , but i have concured that it is from my pos airfilter and its shield . so im gonna et a new K&N air filter

Here's an idea. Get a small brass hose coupling (small enough for your vacuum hose to fit on) with a barbed end on both sides. Drill out the hole in the distributor vacuum advance large enough for one end of the brass fitting to fit in about 1/2 or 3/4 of the way in and glue that sucker into the vaccum advance with epoxy or JB Weld. That should work.

I replaced my vaccum advance when it would not hold vacuum and it cost me $75 at the dealer. It is $45 (plus shipping) from Majestic Honda.

The hose couplings should be available at Home Depot. You migh be able to find one with small pipe threads on one end and a barbed connection on the other. With that one you could thread it into the vacuum advance.

I've been improvising for years, what can I say!

If you drill it out or jam something in there be careful not to get junk in your vaccume system. That could be all kinds of problems. Can you get to a junkyard?

The thing to which you are referring is the EGR valve. I had to replace mine a short while ago. You won't pass emission testing without it (controls NOx emissions).
