fuck my tranny is leaking lots of oil from the right side and it's not from the drain or the dipstick or the vent. It's oozing onto the wheels and shoots it everywhere! Arrrrgh!

i have just resolve the same problem that you yesterday but it was atf fluid that was leaking from the driveaxle seal at the right.
The seal cost me 5 bucks and it take me 30 minutes.
Are you sure that its oil or atf fluid???

ps:i am not exacly sure that its the driveaxle put it the same stick that were is connected the cv boots.

hey mike I'll chec out the hose because I don't see anything there that can do this kind of mess. It's not coming out by the axles either, it's coming from somewhere under the battery, it's too dark to see, I'll give it a good look over tomorrow. Oh and yea, I'm positive it's ATF. Probably the fault of my ghetto cooler.

Oh you most likely will have to fill the trans up with fluid again then do a gear change or something to start moving the fluid thru the lines..... and what ghetto cooler did you rig up?

have you ever replaced the trans cooler lines before? cause when I tried to take mine off they just snaped.

Eric how ya supposed to run the 38 if you don't have the trans working.... and I just got one step closer to beefing up my bottom end power. check the carb tech.

hmm looks like it may be that tranny/axle seal, I don't see anything else indicating it's coming from a line... It all runs down the axle to the hub and flies EVERYWHERE. I just hope the spring on the seal didn't fall into the trans.

Hondaishtebest, can you give me more details I don't quite understand that last line :p
Where'd u get the seal for $5? Oh and what was the part#?

I found the seal at honda dealer for 8$canadian bucks about 5-6$us dollars.
I thinks that its the seal number 20.
You have to remove the right wheel and disconnected some of the the balljoint. Give us new!!!

ps:the name of the part you have to take out to reach the seal is the halfshaft or driveshaft.
