I never heard of it. Be careful, the person has never sold anything before and so far it has been up for 2 days and is only $1. Venom is a good company so i dont think that anyone would be selling something barely used for $1.http://www.autoanything.com/shopping...dge_venom.aspx . There is a site that sells it, and it doesn't say it makes them for any hondas.http://www.autoanything.com/category...control_module . It also says it sells for $309. I would say to stay far away from that seller.

THe second link finds one for the 89 accord using that model specific search feature thing.. The first link you provided linked to the module for Dodges. That's why you couldnt find any..

Just because it's at $1 doesn't mean he's a bad seller. He probably just wants to get rid of it cause he has no use for it and will take whatever he can get for it. If it stays really cheap like that, I would say buy it and see what it does. If it's nothing too great, at least you didn't spend a whole lot of money for it.

i just saw one of those in a mag la couple days ago but im not for sure they make them for 86-89 accords, and venom is a really good company

aerokid1987 no it only works ith FI.

I had one of these on my 88 legend and it helped a little (i dont know about smoking the tires all the time). Basically what it does is make more fuel go into the car and also allows the TPS sensor to open the throttle all the way when you punch it(because honda did not allow the TB to open fully when floored). For that price I would buy it, because they are $400.00 or so normally. It did lower my MPG some, but not to much. The guy I bought it from had bigger venom injectors/fuel pump and gained a good amount of HP from it.

Instead of paying $300 for a stupid module, spend $5 at a junkyard and get a 4g map sensor.

Want to get even more rich? Pull the vac line off of the fpr.

ok 2 quick questions... since we are on the topic, does the map sensor work for the carbed accord? and what is the fpr? I suppose i could find the answer with some time searching but i don't have time so some friendly answers would be appreciated.

at least until I'm done with school and have a good job. I'm keeping my 3g
completely stock, for now.
