holley 32/36

Ok- i bought a remanufactured 32/36 holley carb for my accord. Im making a custom spacer/adapter- exactly matched to each bore size. im even going to port match it to my intake manifold.

is this a good idea?? or should i have an open plenum?>??

also i think my choke is coolant operated, it has a housing with an impeller, so im pretty sure that it is coolant operated. can i use the coolant hoses that run through the intake?? and just bypass coolant flow through the intake??

When you remove the stock carb there is a small coolant line connected to the back of the carb.

Also there is a hole in the intake manifold that brings coolant from inside the manifold up to the carb.

You must either plug that hole to prevent coolant from leaking into the intake manifold... or remove all - 3 COOLANT LINES - .

The small coolant line that runs under the manifold will have to be plugged where is connects to the water pipe.

The other two you can run to the Water Choke ports.

I grinded down the inside dividing wall. I would think this mod helps top end power... vs keeping the wall intact.
If you want the low end try and include a wall in your adapter plate to keep the barrels seperate... unfortunately the adapter plates in the weber kit don't include the wall which is part of the reason I decided to ditch the wall in the manifold.

Make a note of where the secondary barrel is placed... we've tried installing the weber the other way around but it didn't seem as happy.
