    Washington Newbie

    Hey all,
I have been following this site for a few months now but was only rescently able to register. I was so unbalievably excited to discover a site like this. I have been a 3rd gen enthusiest for years but never knew there was a following before I discovered this site. Let me tell you about my cars.
I finally got my lisence at 18 yrs old in California, my home state. I was very anxious to get a car quick. I only had about three grand to spend so I was limited. After some searching I finally decided to test drive my uncles 1 owner, imaculate, 1987 Accord LX. Somehting grabbed me about the looks of the car. Clean lines, low profile, pretty sporty with that late 80's style. But those pop-ups, man those were bad ass. So I hopped inside. The car had a clean well kept interior. My aunt never let anyone smoke or eat in that car. I liked that the car was spacious and had a good looking interior with no frills. Everything looked sporty but everything was totelly utilitarian. After driving it arround the block I was sold. I could not believe that a car with 171 thousand miles could run so good and feel so good. It felt swift nimble and responsive. Not sloppy like my moms van that I had been driving.
I owned that carbed, auto sedan for three whole years. I beat that poor car all to hell and it never failed to surprise me with it's capabilities. It was not a racecar but it was very capable. I got excited every time I got to drive it thinking about what our next adventure would be. Everything from peeling out in the rain, sliding turns, spinouts, downhill top speed of 112 mph, to slow cruising and 800 mile road trips. That baby will always have a special place in my heart. Now, with a banged up body and two transmissions later, my mom owns it with 221 thousand miles and it still runs great every day.
I gave that car to my mom and baught my dream car. A 1989 Accord coup with FI and a five speed tranny! Much of an improvement. (Respect to my 87) After about 6 months after owning this car I was looking for performance parts on line and discovered 3GEEZ.com and its holey wealth of knowledge. I could not believe my eyes! A whole site dedicated to my beloved third generation accord. What did they call it a 3......a 3GEE! I want to thank all you guys for this and lets keep the 3GEE love alive.

ahahhaah dammit i can't post in your racing story thread, so i'll do it here!!! makes you think you beat any CAMARO, because, well you didn't sorry and you need to take some pix, because the visuals of your car look like well this ( ) i don't see anything do you? looks kinda like a cb7, due to all of the 4g stuff, maybe you should just get a cb7 and it out, maybe then you could beat a camaro, with those 50 hp stickers???
