My 86 LX-i hatch vs a 2000 Saturn SL2 (i know the video says 89 but the guy who made it messed up)

some of you might bitch at me about how street racing is bad and blah blah blah I KNOW we were on the freeway with nobody ahead of us for over a mile so yeah..its dark and blurry but w/e its all i got for now

from a 60ish mph roll i was in 3rd..enjoy

eh, not bad, the SL2 as I recall, well... at least the gen 2's put out 125hp at the crank while your car puts out 120 at the crank. The SL2, if you have ever driven one are pretty fun, the gears are close together and so it moves along pretty well.

So yeah... fair race i should say.

actually i MADE 110 at the crank back when the car was new no idea what its maken now..one eye monster cause my right headlight doesnt wana come up it just stays down and i guess its slow yeah come on its a stock LX-i :-p we let off around 90..100ish

i could bury the needle in my accord any day of the week! i can bury the needle in my 4 speed civic too. i never hit fuel cutoff ever. when i put my new motor in im gonna invest in the EDM guage cluster that reads 150 MPH and 9500 RPM. ill prolly bury the needle in that too..

There is no governor on our cars. NO fuel cutoff. That did not come until after 90. I had my needle past 130 this weekend. 5800 in fifth!!!

lol, the saturns do hold their own... the SL2 that is. Was it a manual? If it was, it should have kicked your ass.

I test drove one thinking about buying it, and the gearing was amazing.... i love having gears CLOSE together. Stock lower strut bars too, so they handle pretty nice.
