What rotor's are doing this. The rotor's I sold you never did that on my car
Please tell me that you haven't put them on yet and it's your stock rotors that are doing this.

uh oh, I hope to hell the tie rods are out of the question on this one b/c I just can't deal with that if it is. Mine's doing the same thing, but I thought I was 100% positive it was my rotors.

If it's during braking, then there's about a 95% chance it's the rotors (warped). If your worried about tie rods, jack up the car and grab the tires on the sides and try to move it. If it moves, and you see some play at the tie rod, then it's time to replace. If it moves when you grab the top and bottom of the tire, then it's probably one of the ball joints or the bearing.

it could be any combination of bad tie rod ends, radius rod bushings, warped rotors, and/or bad sway bar bushings.

I had that problem and I just got it fixed a week ago. It was a warped front rotor.![]()

if it's not the rotors, and it's part of the suspension, I believe you will notice the steering wheel moving even when you're not braking it's just subtle. it will like vibrate from side to side..
IF I am wrong, someone please correct me.![]()
I'm just like any other member on this board.......
yea man my car used to do that if the steering wheel goes front to back it's because your rotors are warped and you can have them shaved down or you can go to autozone and have buy new ones for about $19 each, also if the wheel shakes constantly left to right than it isnt the rotors its your alignment

if you got a carbed car, the first suggestion would be to grab the whole front brake assy. from an 88-89 EFI car, and swap them in. Better/larger rotors = better/faster/more consisntent stopping power. Then go to nopi and pick up a set of Brembo rotors and get the good pads, then you should have nothing to worry about for a long long time.

A place called racecepts has them for only $100 a pair.
