Buy some lowering springs. It would look better with out the screws on the outside.
well i actually used push style clips so it looks mor flush then a "screw"
Ghetto = Good
I did that with my corolla

ya a friend of mine showed me a pic of his old gti that he did it to then he gave me what he had left over and i went and bought the clips and it took a whole 10 mins but i wounder what it would look like all the way around then lowerd
someone posted a how to for this a while ago..... doesnt look too bad, only problem is they arent very stiff so itll look a little weird sometimes.....
well the stuff i used has a tube on the bottom so im goin to try and find a flexable yet sturdy metel rod to keep its shapes also if i plan on doin some on the sides ill be using some thing stiff in the tube, lol stiff in the tube.
also i was thinking of putting my fogs in the lip
before
after
I like that what isle can i find that on in home depot and what's it called.
it should be where all the molding is at, i think its called "baseboard molding".....
Ghetto but nice...I think it looks better then the 1g teg lips....imo

That looks pretty good imo. Its a lot thicker than most lips I see.

Sweet I have some of that lying up in my garage! hehehe I will give it a shot. So the push style clips you used, are they like the ones for out inner plastic wheel well lining? I'm just wondering how well it will hold up to winds and snow.... Maybe it will act like a mini snow plow if I get it low enough
You should put some on the back bumper to see what it would look like. And rivot some onto the rocker panels to look like a full lip kit. Might be cool might look horrible don't know until you try.
does it bend back when your driving around or is it quite stiff?
Its quite stiff, I've been looking into doing this for a while now.Everything else i've see is just a piece of rubber and that folds up on the freeway.
ive seen guys on here that did that. looks ok but try to get it to fit better
thats cause the 1g teg lip is supposed to look stock.....Originally Posted by 87accordHB
really i dont knwo cause i drive my car and i cant see the bottom of the front bumber when i driveOriginally Posted by Selfmindead
what you could do, where it's round, make a slit, and slip that onto the bumper, and seal it will somthing so it will be flush against the bumper. While behind the bumper u can use screws to attach it and it wont be visible, but it's difficult to make the slit
