Ok. I've been readin all these threads about car dings, and how to disconnect them and other stuff. My question is, which of our cars come with the chimes. My car doesn't chime (89 LX4dr.) Was it just the coupes that come with it?

I thought the 86-87 didn't have the "headlight is on" chime but it turned out mine was just broken. Finally fixed it after going 4 years without one. So I think all 86-89's had the headlight chime, seat belt beep, and key beep.

i got all the dings
my neighbor had a 95ish civic that didn't have any dings, she constantly left her headlights on overnight i think one month we boosted her car about 10 times, after that i had to start making excuses not to because i'm not gonna f**k up my battery cause she can't tell when she left her lights on:lol

Turn on your headlights and open your door play with the black L shaped thing to see if the chime comes back
