    carb intake pre heater hose

    hi, what did you guys do with the preheater hose when installing an intake using the civic airbox. did you plug it or just remove it?

    you can remove it... it's just a slinky hose that becomes useless once you no longer have the hot air door on the stock air box... unless you plan to constantly have it bringing hot air to the carb (If you live in cold cold weather year round).

    During winter, that hose was essential to me or the carb would go in fast idle mode even when fully warmed.
