    cleaning my carb

I bought some carb cleaner and I was just wondering, do I take that little screen thing off in the air box before I spray the cleaner or can I just leave it on?

itll be easier to remove the screen to clean it....
Make sure that you kepp it revved up alittle so that it wont stall when spraying it in..

Spray it all over in the barrels so that you get the gunk of all the parts...also spray some on the linkage on the side of the carb...

    good cleaning to you..

I just leave it on. It will still get in there and clean just as good through the screen. You don't want to start taking shit off if you don't have to....you know how touchy carbs can get. Spray through the screen

yeah i'll take it off (just another excuse to get my tools out again) plus I might learn something new about my carb other than it sucks. I want to change it to fuel injected.

    Convert to weber
I need to make an LX-w badge for my car, instead of LX-i ... or a WLX instead of WRX

I can't really afford to put in a new carb. at this time. I'm in between jobs. But about how much would a weber be for my car?
