1988 honda accord engine problems
hey everyone how it going i have a few problems on my car ok here it gose.
1. when the car starts its runs fine at idle when its in park, i put it into gear the idle drops just below 1000 rpms and start to bounce somtime i need to keep my foot on the pedle untill it get going or it will stall. as it warms up the rpms drop even lower like 600rpms and the idle bounces sometimes more then others and almost wants to stall when i have come to a complete stop
2. after it has rained out or is moist i go to start the car when its cold and i put it into gear and it stall out inless i have let it sit and get warm then it runs fine
3. it has a little oil leak somewere (still looking for it) and when the car is under hard acceleration it shoots out some blue smoke as if it was burning it up
i also just got my car inspected and everything passed on it except for the NOx reading this is what everything read from the report
EMISSIONS READING LIMIT
HC grams per mile 00.26 02.00 pass
CO grams per mile 000.08 030.00 pass
NOx grams per mile 03.62 03.00 fail
CO2 grams per mile 380.94 N/A N/A
and i have come to the conclustion that i need a new EGR valve so im replacing that saturday so anywon know what could be wrong or what i could look for to find the problem anything would be great thanks
