Okay so now for info, i bought this cam for $25 at target... ups is it takes so-so pix, downs are : won't take pix at night, Only stores 26 "high resolution" pix and something else i forgot, don't ya hate that... anyways i think its an okay cam i'm gonna take some more pix later today probably before/during/after i go to work... wish me luck!

i see im no the only one whos door panel was torn up by the seatbelt and people slamming the door

pisses me off, how can you not notice that the seatbelt is hanging? i dont think ive EVER done it, but both door panels are shit.....yours are much worse tho

Yeah fender is on the way... only seatbelt incident was this one time last week. i yelled at the chick. i didn't know thats what it was from tho...
Plans are very open right now, thinking about taking a seperate engine and building it then transplanting it in... dunno yet though... auto-xing looks fun... anyways keep up the complements!!!

heh, yeah i thought you were talking about a new cam! ah. anyway, when i got my camera i did that same thing. took many random pix of my car and stuff. mostly my car. your car looks pretty decent. needs a little work, but looks good for now.

no, hb's didnt come stock with a sunroof. only LX-i and SE-i sedans. i believe even the coupes with sunroofs were put in by either the dealership or another shop. that's what they told me at the dealership when i asked. i can tell you that is not a honda sunroof though. does that one come completely off? i see in the pic it pops up to vent. i've seen those that look like that but also can be taken off. oh, and the honda sunroofs that were put on by the dealerships i usually see are the kind that slide into the roof like the sedans had.

my parents special ordered my car

88 lxi 5spd with maroon int. and a flip up sunroof

the moonroof thing cut back too much headroom and my dads head would hit it all of the time, he said it was annoying when test driving. So they ordered one with a flip up roof, and boy am i glad... because if he didnt (im taller then him now) my head would be bumpin into the damn thing. I still cant believe they ORDERED the car with maroon int! Why not tan, or gray... dammit.

I just recently learned that it will pop out, which is awesome. Takes like 3 min to pull it out (if that) for those summer cruising days

feeling ya on the maroon interior i hate this color i'm looking into replacing all of it thats maroon. most of its worn bad anyway specially the rearseat at the top its split at almost all the seams. maybe salvage yard for dash and door panels and just new seat and carpet.

well it doesn't pop comepletely out unless you remove the mounting screws which are on the glass, and my interior is blue/gray i.e. the dash and console are blue but the pillars (front and rear) are gray. anyways i've already replaced the fake leather boot with a real leather one i made from a friend who owns a leather shop here it is...

if you haven't seen it already, i can make these if anyones interested all i ask is you buy the leather (which is like $5) and pay for the shipping, or i can make a how-to upon request all you need is leather and a sewing machine that can sew leather, anyways about your maroon interior, why don't you just paint it with some krylon??? its but it works.
