    my 2 12's at 1200w's were hitting at 140.

I can guarentee my setup, while being realitivly exspensive, was still a good $100,000 less then that one sub alone.

180 db is insane. I can imagine how it would rattle parts off the car. it would be funny. Even funnier when you hear somebody claiming they hit 250+ db with their sound system.

The loudest vehicle I ever experienced was one of Orion's demo vans several years ago - that was hitting around 160dB and a 24Hz bass note (low pipe organ!) was moving the windshield in-and-out a good couple inches.

180dB would blow the windows out of your car. 250dB is just plain bullshit.

130dB is generally considered the "threshold of pain"; 140+ will start your ears bleeding; 150+ will cause instant and permanent hearing loss.

No to mention, a driver that size would require a ridiculous amount of power to run it.

I'm surprised something like that doesn't tear the fillings straight out of your mouth when it's powered.

    Sweet vid man!

Yeah that's a huge sub I've seen it around... there are a few other huge subs like that but I've only seen a couple pics of them.... and a small blurb on how they whern't allowed at bass comps. lol

Birthdays are good for you!! Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.
