    Upgrades

After my honda gets out of the shop, Im planning on getting some upgrades for her. I dont know which I should start saving for, but Im more interested in power than looks. I dont really know how to work on cars, but im willing to learn . So what should I start saving for that gives the most gang for my buck.

Ill try to tell you anything else that you might need to know for a specific mod you think would be up my alley.

Well do you have a carb or Fuel injection?? If it is FI first thing I would add is a cold air intake, it tells you how to make your own in the how to section. Costs about 60$. Next mod you could do is add new spark plugs and wires. You could also add a new header and exhaust, the header is about 250$ and exhaust varies. There are a lot more mods but those are the basic ones I could think of.

"89 Accord Lxi 102000 miles " unless its a typo, its sure an efi. yep, get an intake put in, get new headers (around 250 for pacesetters and 400 for DC), get new exhaust system without muffler (pacesetter would be fine). get good muffler (like a Dtm or flowmasters or stuff liek that) DTm is like 100 bucks in ebay if u look real close. If you got moreeee money and if u wanna do this, get a NOS kit for like 400 - 500 bucks. Got like 4grand? get a turbo .

for other gimmicks. get a short shifter from pacesetters. Get some nice shocks and coilovers. Nice rims and rubbers.

something for pure custom: change your compression ratio with custom made pistons.

the list goes on...... but start from the cheap good ones u want and work ur way up. good luck and take care
