Man, i got my 89 coupe today, and so i went and put "new" tires on it.
Theres a local shop that sells nearly new tires (mine still had nubbies) at crazy low prices.
So i got a matched set of Michelin Pilot XGT H4's.
I have to say, for the price i paid, this is a happenin tire. (150 mounted & balanced)
I took along my normal curves, stuck to the pavement like a dream.
Granted its no summer tire, but tis still pretty good.

$400 for 15" tires?! Holy hell! I pay that much for 16s!
Toyos are expensive >.<
well i paid 280 for my rims and tires...i have khumo in front and michelin in the back...i got like 40-50% tread left on them...not bad for fat fives...i had to go get them balanced at my uncles shop tho..they were shaking at like 60mph now i have tested them at 100mph and wow big dif from stock 13s

they grip like a dream i cant even spin um unless its wet out and its hard then before the tires i had would just spin out easy
haha i nearly burned the old tires off the rims on the way to the tire shop.
I lvoe getting new tires =)
