Dunno. But I hate ABS. :| Any car I've had it on just annoyed me. I usually disabled it.

ok i called my insurance company and i ask how can i save money and the guy said if your car has:

    Airbags
    automatic seatbelts
    ABS breaks
    car alarm

so it would save us insurance money if we had it...never heard of a 3gee with ABS but the Acura legend has ABS beacuse my friend has a 1989... it has all wheel disk brakes with ABS...can we put thoes in?

You can put in viper brakes if you have enough money. But honestly the insurance cut isn't going to save you any money by converting. ABS is annoying, heavy, and irritating. Forget it. It's a waste of time.

its not a waste of time if it saves you any money, and honestly, alot of people, even on a car forum, dont know how to brake correctly. when im spending 300 bucks every 6 months for a 18 year old car with basic liability, every little bit helps

But the cost involved with bringing over the ABS system with all it's wiring and extra hoses and whatnot PLUS the time involved= NOT A WAY TO SAVE MONEY. It's a dumb idea. Sorry. IF you do it because you like ABS, or because you think it'll improve your car, sure, but it's not going to save you any money. You sound like that guy who wants to do a 4g front end conversion because he can't find a 4g accord.

really i dont think abs is going to save you much money if you covert it. if the car came with it, then it would be considered by the insurance company. insurance wants to dick you out of every cent they can, so they would probably come up with some bs about how it might not be safe since it wasnt dealer installed or some crap like that. i hate insurnace companies, they just suck in general, imo. and remember its april fools day, the forum is all funky just for fun.

fix your name fag, its april 2nd.

your probably right about the insurance company screwing you, but as i said, if you can prove it works up to factory standards (ie get it inspected) they have no choice but to give you the discount. even if its only 10% it would take 30 bucks off my 6 month payment.
