Do a Weber Carb 32-36 DG series conversion. You can get the carb on Ebay for probably <$100. Then you can order the adapter plate separately. There are a few guys on the board who have done this. Someone with a few more details please respond

How do you advance your distributor? And I do have a flipped lid. but that really didn't do a whole lot. I was thinking about getting a weber but I wanted to make a air intake first.

Yes I think you should gain some horsepower, the lxi has runners more like headers, and flows better,a low buget hp gain. But you need flexpipe also.Boneyard looks good.

I never done it its just a idea, experiment. There maybe problems with those pollution piping bull. Plus with the 0-2 sensers. Dx only has 1 and lxi has 2...But I'll say the lxi sure looks more free flowing. Won't cost much.

well the pollution pipping shit is no problem since i would just rmove all that shit if i got the lxi manifold and the second o2 senser i can get a guy at my local muffler shop to weld that hole up for a few bucks.

so i would need the lxi manifold and flew pipe? will all that just bolt to the cat with no problems?

LX is 4-1, pacesetter made 4-1 lx manifolds but somewhere along the line dumped the idea.
Not sure on the flex pipe... but it couldn't hurt to pull one off the same time you pull the header.

It has it's advantages, like more torque or something... but if I make my custom header it's gonna be 4-1.
