Help Car Wont Stay Running!!

So I go outside this morning start the car, let it warm up. Back out of the driveway and the car feels fine, I idle away from the house and once I press the gas the car dies, ...... So I figured if the car runs in reverse to back up and pull into the driveway.....I dont have my CAI on right now because it's raining. I dont understand whats going on. Does anyone have any ideas? It idles fine in the driveway but when I rev it it dies at 2000 rpm's .

has this been happening ever since you got your afpr?? not sure what else it could be. you should maybe get an a/f gauge.

Yeah.. It kinda sounds like the motor is flooding itself. My car does that when i first start it up in the morning if i push the gas more than half way.

But what do i know.

I changed the fuel filter this morning , it's still doing the same thing. If I gradually raise the rpm it's fine ,,but when I try to rev, or drive it just turns off. It's not throwing any codes.
Anybody got ANY ideas !?

you probably need a new fuel pump

i think its probably the afpr, try raising the pressure either up or down and see if that makes a difference.

I took it off, when I replaced filter thinking that might've been the prob, any other suggestions.

drive the Gs-R until you get it fixed! lol

Problem solved: replaced ignition rotor and cap, it was fried.,
