    AEM brakes question....

when looking for aem pads, all anyone ever lists is pads for 89 coupe dx and 86-88 sedan lx/dx, and then sei lxi whatever
    i have an 89 lx.....
can i just buy the ones for 86-88lx/dx & 89coupe dx and theyll work or is there actually a reason they arent listed?

That didn't make a ton of sense to me but maybe I am just half retarted.

I have 88/89 LX-i/SE-i pads and rotors on my 86 LX-i hatch and it works just fine no modifications what so ever. So it could be anything man.

uh.... 88-89 brakes are larger, you would need the whole knuckle to be able to use those rotors.

yeah the carbs(dx, lx) hondas had smaller rotors than the fuel injection(se-i, lx-i) but the dx and lx pads should work...i checked the website and you need part number 26-105 they are retailed for 52 bucks but i found them at ebay for 40 including shipping.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AEM-B...QQcmdZViewItem

Yeah, that can't be right. I know for a fact that the 86 LX-i hatch had a smaller caliper/rotor. The 13" rims I had on my hatch would NOT fit on the front of my 89 SE-i cause of the larger rotor/caliper.
