yea your standard T3 is nice, I'm using a 42/48. If you haven't read max boost, do and compare compressor maps. Find your est. VE and see what turbo will work best with the boost you are lookin for.

i am looking at mufflers right now. i a want someting kinda low key and quiet. i will prob cheap out and get one of these.

belive it or now, the ebay twinloops come highly recommeneded from honda-tech. they are suposed to be quiet, and if you can hide the ugly loop it wont look too bad

    Re: Victors turbo non-progress thread

    http://thedodgegarage.com/turbo/turbo_20.jpg

Although there isn't turbo specific mufflers listed you still may want to read this, there is a lot of good N/A tech exhaust tuning for anyone interested:
Post #13 talks about the Dynomax and Cyclone Sonic Turbo. Which were listed in the above backpressure chart...
    http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...2&page=1&pp=20

    Magnaflow
    Hooker Maximum Flow

I just got a 2.25" Hooker Aero Chamber for a V6... I'll get some Idea of how it sounds on an N/A car.
    HOOKER AERO CHAMBER
The above site where I got the backpressure chart from listed it as not being good for turbo... but I can't say if they oversimplified their opinion or not. The other site makes a better statement. I've looked the Aerochamber over and looked at the other site saying it showed 0 loss on a 375 HP motor. So if you're in the 300 HP range, I think the Aero Chamber could be another option.

If you like tha slant tip on that second muffler they are a dime a dozen.

Some other things on the side:
Someone on here posted some feedback (sound related?) on rolled-in vs rolled-out/flared tips.
You also have tips that have both the rolled-out and rolled-in but are made with two layers, the first layer rolls-out and the second layer rolls in covering the rolled-out part so you get a clean cylindrical tip.

I'll try and and some feedback on the sound difference if any of single-in/single-out tips vs the single-in/dual-out tips.

2.00" and 2.25" are okay for mild aftermarket improvements, we fall around 1.75" stock and thats what our cars come with, it doesn't account for the stock cat or muffler though. When you think about it the "DEMAND" for exhaust flow is not constant... as RPM increases so does the need to flow more exhaust.

    125 hp x 2.2 = 275 cfm
1.75" Single Exhaust pipe flows about 275 cfm

    163 hp x 2.2 = about 360 cfm
2.00" Single Exhaust pipe flows about 360 cfm

    200 hp x 2.2 = 440 cfm
2.25" Single Exhaust pipe flows about 440 cfm

cat technology is getting better so you don't have to be illegal and ditch the cat alltogether to get good performance, and not many of us here are scrapping the bottom of the barrel looking for every last drop of power to win a 1/4 mile race.

Here are some high flow cats

    Random Technology
    Magnaflow Magnaflow Cat

    CARSOUND
    SMSP SMSP Spun Bodied Cat

Here is some good into on cats.

I'm running a 3" Magnaflow universal XL (5"x8"x24" oval). At 3000rpm its 88dbs, which is very comfortable driving, not to loud, but still not stock.

    Re: Victors turbo non-progress thread

well my mother has never ran out of gas and i dont think that my cars gas light never been. cuz everytime it was 1/4 of a tank i would fill it up. when i took out my gas pump i saw inside and it was drity. so one day b4 i changed the fuel pump and fuel filters i drove it till i had to gas left then took it out and changed out all the stuff and now i can feel the car takes off better. but it would not hurt to clean a 18 year old tank

ah thats what I can use my 100 CD case thing for holding some nasty gas. yeah go with NGK plugs your motor will thank you. Im thinking that 2g DSM turbo you have will be fully spooled by like 2500 which is great for a solo car but youll want to go bigger if you want to see some killer top end. Looks like your comming along nicly on your setup. I would suggest going with a wideband set up for o2 sensors, will make tuneing less work.
my car is stock it just likes sittn lower to the ground than most cars:
Lowes 3" CAI W/filter, hackd off mufflar, MSD Blaster 2 coil and bosch Platinum spark plugs&wires...she roars all the way to 6K
