    painting my rims

    I was going to repaint the rims because of the scratches, I got it off junkyard for cheap, I cant complain!
    I thought of repainting it silver, but what do you think of gunmetal grey? Heres a quick photoshop:

    the gunmetal grey looks kinda good, but i think its a bit dark for the color of the car

    thats about right maybe a little more gold but just as dark but it will def look killer

    My first choice would be bronze, it look killer with your car!!!
    my 2nd choice is Silver, I think Gun Metal is too dark!

    The wheels in the above pic are gold. Bronze is a bit darker. Bear in mind, that's a photochop, you should be fine just getting some paint labeled as bronze. It will look different than the photochop when it's on your car.

    bronze will be more like the 1st one, but honestly, it's your car. You need to do what you think looks good, not what we think looks good.

    I dunno, I think when you have dark-colored rims on your car, they can sometimes look too much the factory steel wheels. Especially once you get rolling. People might just think that you've got an older car that all the hubcaps fell off of.

    I think shiny silver rims or alloy rims just make the older cars like ours stand out more and tend to get people to take notice. But, thats just my opinion, and like speedpenguin said, you gotta do what you really like.
