i replaced the original cable over a year ago with one i got from a local member...it worked for about a week then one day i was on the road and the spedo was workign then BOOM the needle droped to zero...never could figureo ut why it did that..tryed everything i could think of to fix the problem...even took the spedo out of the cluster and inspected it...

so yesterday i took the spedo cable from my parts car and put it in my LX-i...when i took a better look at the old cable turns out the actual metal cable inside the plastic tube thing had twisted its self in half..half of the fucker came out of its little tube thing when i pulled on the end that goes into the cluster

crazy huh? i'll snap some pix tomorrow

more like 2 years...it broke before then i fixed it
