    Hm. so i crashed.

Well... i was heading out of a parking lot.. the ground was a little wet and i gave it a little gas for a little skidding fun, but at this time my throttle stuck open, and i ran really hard into a curb!si sad times. anyways the driver side front wheel is really messed up here are some pics i took. curious if maybe i could get some opinions on the parts i need to replace and how much they might run for.. and possibly other things i should check into for damage.
Thanks.. hope to get my 3g back runnin soon

holey poop BATT WOMAN, look how broke that steering knuckle is, how long did you let it sit before you took that pic cuz it looks rusted all the way through. parts needed to fix: stainless steel brake lines, used drivers side steering knuckle, possibly a new lower control arm, new CV shaft upper and lower ball joints. was theres any unibody damage, if there was I would just suggest finding another shell to swap your good stuff into. we need more and better pictures to give us a good idea of how bad you screwd up.
my car is stock it just likes sittn lower to the ground than most cars:

I know right? that is one busted knuckle. i just got to working on it yesterday, the weathers been horrible and rainy.. its been a couple months actually. so yeah definately rusty.. i'll see if i can get some better pictures the flat bed tow truck kinda of stuck it in an odd place to work on. but not exactly sure how i can move it. i know that the radiator needs to be replaced, and that the throttle is still stuck open, my wheels were messed up so i am getting some new ones today so i can put two on the back ad jack the front up get it on some stands so hopefully get a little more detail on what the suspension damage is... thanks for the help

holy fucking shit, nice work. Usually the knuckle is one of the last things to break unless youres was really weak. Id check to see that the lower control arm mount in the rear beam wasnt tweaked or twisted also

looks like your strut moved back a bit?

make sure there is no unibody damage. I have similar experience while back, didn't realise the strut tower and crossmember mounting point moved, managed to 'patch up' the damage by adjusting the radius rod

meh just hit up the u-pull-it on just off of foster rd in portland. i was there a couple of weeks ago and they had a few cars with front end suspension mostly intact. a couple were completely intact. u can probably snag all that you need.

What's up with the big oil patch under the engine? Or is that from the rad? You may of done more bad then you thought, and assume you did.. your car won't ever 'feel' the same when/if back on the road.

Yeah actually i was at the foster used auto yesterday to pickup my wheels, i need some tires though.. gotta wait to get my check, the wet under the car i had just poured some water in the radiator to see if it would hold.. obviously.. it did not LoL.. its not safe to jack it up right now need to get some back wheels my driveways such at a slant it wants to move when i jack up the front and back (all the wheels are off right now) but i am working on more pictures real soon as i can get the front jacked up decently.

    Thanks again.

Just a little off topic, you shouldnt jack up a car unless its on solid ground... I wouldnt jack the car on grass...

    Re: Hm. so i crashed.

thanks for the tip its actually in the driveway so fairly stable. but yes. i agree its not safe to work around because its not on level ground and it wants to sway if i jack it up. but this is all i have to work with right now . do you have any tips on how i could move it to a safe position? the vehicle dollies i've seen only have like 2" casters and wouldn't like the driveway at all.. any other ideas?

I don't remember all the sizes you need, I'd just bring a full 1/2 and 1/4 metric ratchet set with extensions, a ball joint seperator, and you'll need an open ended wrench to remove the brake line.

I am pretty sure my frame is bent so i am not sure what i'm gonna do.. i guess i can try and part it out, but i am pretty sure that if i went to replace the upper and lower arm the new one wouldn't line up correctly
