If your trying to build a 200HP N/A motor and your going to do a bunch of head work and all then i would say to go for the SS, but if you just want to do bolt-ons and basic upgrades then go with the pacesetter. And if your not keeping the car for long or your eventaully going to go turbo or anything like that then i would just buy the ebay pacesetter and paint it.

yeah, i'm not even sure what my plans are with the car...but i don't want to just throw away money, so i want something that'll at least be worth what i paid for it...i'm probably not gonna do any serious head work...just bolt-ons and what not...

i dunno, i'll figure something out

The ebay pacesetter with high-temp paint will be fine to start off with then after a while if you decide to get more serious about modding your car you can send it out to jethot to get it coated.

Personally, I'd still buy the S&S header. Much better quality. I've seen a few on hotrods around here, and they're nice pieces. Much better than what pacesetter produces.

I've had one for about 5 years now, no rust but the welds on the rear hanger bracket broke
I also broke off the egr port weld trying to hammer in an aluminum foil plug

I don't know. I had a full exhaust and high flow cat, I didn't notice much difference with the header. Right now it has a Summit Racing brand turbo muffler, it sounds decent, not raspy or really loud. I should make a recording.
