Are the carbed A20A1s louder than the EFI A20A2 and A20A3 in general?

That all depends on the intake system... most EFI cars with CIA's have a deep growl to them because the noise is basically tuned by the length and diameter of the pipe
but anyways, based on a stock configuration I think the carbed motors would be louder.

my 89 LXi engine is pretty loud with an open throttle body. the intake tweaks it some, but i like it open.
i'll try to record it tomorrow
Both engines really suck air in. When checking for vacum leaks with air cleaner off and lines pluged. You have to cover the carb slightly at idle with a rag or even from a foot away it'll suck in starting fliud.
i heard Efi cars are more silent ! but don't know about honda's ! my friend 's 4th gen civic EFI doesn't make any sound when on !
