all's good till 60mph then its all bad

I was driving the freeway the other day when my car hit 60 it started to sputter and slow down to like it wasnt getting enough fuel. and i coundnt get it to go any faster than 15. i am planning on changing the fuel filters but i wanted to know if there was any thing else to check as well. and yes i searched, im going to check the venturies as well as the pcv, cap and rotor

    thanx

yeah you have a good start...i changed my fuel filters and you can feel like the engine gives you more power, after i changed my fuel pump since the filter riped and it was sucking all the dirt...just got a junkyard one with 121k miles on it. my problem was that the carb would not give me power so i changed it also.

Fuel pump, or maybe booster venturi but usually once the secondary booster goes you'll see a drop in upper rpm perfrmance 3,000 rpm +

    not just at 60 mph.

    also check your coolant.
