Going to be getting some bodywork done pretty quick here, and I'm pretty torn on what to do. I kinda want to paint the mouldings to match the car, but not sure if it would look right.
Any input?

Yes, definately do it. I painted mine and I think it looks great, way way better.
89 Accord LXi Coupe, Tenzo Type II Titanium Exhaust, KYB GR-2 Struts, 2 JL 10's, New Polor White Paint Job, Accel Super Stock Coil, Boss 318 Black Chrome 17x8 Rims, 215-40-17 Ziex
it kinda depends, ift a kight color i say no, if its a dark color than yeah. a lighter color needs something to really set the car off like black mouldings![]()
I painted mine, but it depreciates the value of the car. (was told that from insurance agent when someone backed into mine)
.
Makes car look better/newer.
i think it takes something away. I love my black/grey setup
i agree it makes the car look newer, but not always better. i think it depends on the color.. they look good painted if the car is white or black but colors like gold or silver wouldn't work out so much.. and red cars i think look better with black accentingOriginally Posted by diegoaccord
Or you could shave them :-)
Birthdays are good for you!! Statistics show that the people who have the most live the longest.
^ yeah just take them off and fill them unless you are worried abour door dinges and stuff.
Shaving is a big no no to me... Won't do that to my car. And I plan to keep the same colour the car is now, just fresh repaint. Its the dark dark grey that came on se-i sedans.
