Yeah like i said it is just a thought, if i did put a scoop i'm not stupid enough to put a huge freaking one, something like 280 z or early 300z's. But front mount would have cooler intake air because of its size so for functionality purposes that is most likely the best way to go...

i would get a ricey mesh grill for your bumper, spray it black, and put a flat black intercooler behind it. it will function better than most top mounts, and if you do it right, nobody will ever see the intercooler.
