    Re: cold air intake help

I see that your new to the forum, if you have any questions then please use the search function at the top of the page. These cars have very little aftermarket support, so to answer your question no, there is not cold air intake made for these cars, it will have to be custom. If you have anymore questions then search frist.

all im going to say is search. trust me if you keep asking question like these that have been askes 500 billion times, everyones just going to say SEARCH. ill make it easy on you, buy either a cold air intake for a 90-93 integra or a 94-97 accord intake. they both just need to be trimed in some places to make it fit nicely.

yeah, that should work. you just have to move the battery over a little. try searching bro. youll get a lot of answers that way.

It will work, thats the one i have on my car. You dont have to move the battery, but you do have to cut it in a few places, and make sure you get one with a air bypass so you dont hydro lock your motor, its like $10 extra for onw with a bypass.

    Re: cold air intake help

if you end up with an accord (94-97) CAI, it is easier to work with the 3 peice intakes than the 2 peice ones. just an FYI... i cant comment on the integra intakes though.

    Re: cold air intake help

    So here's my question,

I had a look at my stock intake today; I have a K&N in the filter box. From what I can tell, I could probably take off about half of the existing plastic pipe leaving me with about a foot of pipe and the K&N at the end. Is there much or any difference between having my filter at the top of the pipe or the bottom? And as far as I can tell the only after-market air-intake for Honda Accords 86-89 is offered my Weapon-R?

    Any thoughts?

    Re: cold air intake help

just search. Weapon R is a short ram not a CAI, you can use one from other accords or integras. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-89...28802211QQrdZ1

I have one like that in my Accord. Just had to open up the bottom hole a little and move the battery over about 1/2 in.
