    how about a black bumper

my front bumper desperatley needs to be repainted, and it just so happens that i "found" a can of flat black bumper spray. my cars color is the 88 stock blue. how do you think a black bumper would look? i think it would be pretty sharp, could someone please post some pics for me

also if not, could i use the spray to paint my honda emblem black, im thinking that would look cool with yellow vinyl background.

dang that looks good! is that just easier or can you not just take off the bumper though?

also, is it necessary to prime it first, or not as long as you clean and sand it real good?

    thanks much for the pics

Yeah you need to prime it. I wouldnt use that flat black paint you are using either. It doesnt have a flex agent in it made for bumpers and it will chip with the slightest amount of contact. You will also need to buy some paint prep at the store too. Even after I cleaned my bumper with soap and water particles were still removed once i sprayed it with paint prep.

Go check out the auto store, they will have some stuff for you..heres what i used..
