I'm having problems with my auto tranny
I was at 80 mph at 3000 rpm in 4 and it kept trying to down shift to 3rd but it wouldnt make it, it got like half way and then went back to 4th. I'm not a very good mechanic and dont know what is going on. i just added 1 quart of tranny fluid to it the other day an it has 128,000 miles. some one tell me what happened please thanks
to the forum , sorry to hear about your prob.
Be careful not to overfill the tranny that could cause big probs.
Check the cable that comes from the transmission and goes to the throttle body. Those have to be adjusted properly for your car to shift right.
How old is the fluid thats already in it?
shit where is this cable? i'm a carb and i dont know how old the fluid is

i found it and moved some of the stuff around it and the tranny seems to
be working fine but i'm taking it to be serviced tomorrow
