    Introductions plus a question

    Hi all,
This is my first post on this site. I am currently a member of acura-legend.com. I just got a "new" 1986 Accord Exi sedan, and want to change out the cassette player in it. On my initial inspection it appear the glove box needs to come out. It this correct. Can someone tell me exactly what I need to do to replace the head unit. I already looked at the FAQs but nothing addresses this.
    Thanks.

    welcome!

as far as in know there is no reason why u would need to remove your glove box

2 or 3 screws holding the radio in on the bottom in the back holding it in

Awsome cars bro, that LS coupe is super clean (I saw it on A-L.com before you posted here). I used to have an 88 sedan, but I had to sell it to help fund my motor in my Accord. That was my first car and I really hated to see it go. Good luck with the new car.

Yup!!! Unfortunately they dont work right now. The guy I got the car from said he never got them to work. I suspect its just bulbs though. The switch lights up in the car when you turn them on.

Yeah Legend Master, I do remember your sedan. Loved it. My legend sedan was in an accident and this accord is its replacement. Loving it so far, has low milage (169000km approx... 100000miles). And gets better gas milage than the legend.
