yeah i expected that the rpm's would go up and down very quickly with a super light flywheel. it's an 8lb. aluminum flywheel. it would take some getting used to but i'm pretty good at double clutching to keep the revs at the powerband. the short shifter i have also makes for quick shifts.Originally Posted by A20A3quippedbeast
i'm also swapping the instrument cluster for an EX/Si one, which has the tachometer, to keep tabs on the revs. what's nice is that it's plug and play, no additional wiring needed and i definitely don't want to put those big ass autometer tachs on....unless i really need one and unless i'm gonna fiberglass mold it into the dash so it doesn't stick out like how some ricers just screw it on.
If I had the money I would've gotten these rims - SSR Type C's:
God, they're crazy light for 16x7's @ 11lbs. each! 13.7lbs each for 17x7's. Even the Gram Lights brand aren't that light. I think I found my new favorite set of rims!
Found this through the upgrade garage in the tirerack.com site (car: 95 Civic EX coupe). Same 4x100 bolt pattern and offset, so I'm sure these fit the 3gee's too. $329 each for 16x7's.
