Hmmm that's something to look into.
I suggest that you check if the single piston calipers are the same. If they are, chances are that the twin piston calipers are the same

okay so the calipers arent the same so we would have to use pads for 86-87, can the 86-87 calipers fit the 88-89 disk brakes???? i doubt it.
another question, what do you guys think would be better, having brembo rotors and 88-89 aem pads single piston caliper or that same setup only with the 86-87 rotors but with the twin calipers?? what do you guys think?
guaynabo we need your help?!?!?????

I dont think you will ever find the GS calipers state side
www.fastbrakes.com may be your best bet.

The dual piston calipers only fit all the 86-87 models and the 88-89 dx and lx models.
Apparently there was no revision in the brake system in Japan where they went to bigguer rotors and calipers in the front like we have here in the US for the 88-89 lxi and sei.
At least this is what I was told from the junkyard in New Zealand where I got the caliipers from.
Only way to fit them on an 88-89 lxi sei would be to swap out front knuckles and rotors to the smaller dx style parts.
The GS calipers can definately be found stateside. I bought a set of these fully loaded for about 150. Unfourtunately The dont work with the AEM big brake kit. I would hve had to upgrade to a 13" front rotor to use the 94-95 Acura Legend GS calipers.
I have tried fitting many differnt brake parts in the search fro more stopping power. Thats where I found out about the 88-89 Legen rear suspension too.
