It looks like nobody's beat Jared yet.

343xxx miles. i drive it over 100 miles a day, runs awesome, no problems. motor is all original, and never rebuilt. no leaks whatsoever. all for $400.

no mine has 125k miles. i was just saying if instead of mileage would it be kilometerage
225,xxx miles on mine. up from 212,xxx when i got it 2.5 years ago.
I have 289,000 on the car now, I swapped the motor at 286,000 and put the motor into another hatch that is still running.
I am in the process of buying a 2G hatch with 400K+ on the original engine,
i just hit 150,000 in my '89 lx-i. when i got the car in 2000 it had about 110,000.
my beater '88 dx has something like 198,000 on it but it looks like it's gone 500,000.

Guys, we're getting miles out of these cars that make my Mercedes friends envious!! I put around 1650 miles per week on mine. The bottom end is still original although I did do a head job and replaced all the seals at 290,000. However, it did not leak any oil before and it doesn't now. My Mercedes, on the other hand, leaves it's mark wherever you park it. And it was reworked at 232,000 miles. So, from my experience, Honda kicks Mercedes ass for workmanship, engineering and reliability.
371,842.2 miles on my '89 LX-i, original motor, original tranny, 2nd clutch. Still runs and drives like an absolute dream, everything works, cold a/c, etc. I got it in 2001 with 253k on it from my mom, and she got it in May 1997 with 140k from the original owner. I've got a very very minor oil leak, I think coming from the breather tube. Only have to add about 1/2-1 quart over 5000 miles so it's not too bad. Unfortunately the body is really showing it's age... 13 salty Chicago winters are really taking their toll on the rear fenders and other spots, and the clearcoat is peeling pretty good on the roofStill runs great though and still perfectly reliable!

My dads SE-i auto is at 170,xxx miles and doing great, though the motor was rebuilt around 135k or somewhere around there (before he bought it). Might as well add my moms 5th gen in here too ('94 EX sedan 5 speed), she's around 209,xxx and going strong as ever! My bike has 'only' 58,700 miles, LOL, but it's a 2004 and not even 2 years old yet (1 yr 9 mos)
Gotta love Hondas!!![]()

My lxi has a bit over 116k miles and my 91 4geez had over 230k miles when i sold it. I use to see the kid who bought the car (i sold my car to a guy who buys cars fixes them then sells them) driving it every once in a while so im assuming its got over 240k miles. Funny how most people say "i dont want to put to many miles in my car" but we honda people (at least me lol) say "i cant wait to put more miles into my car".![]()
yeah its fun...i could not wait til the car turned 150k i got it from my mom with 147k and now it has 157k? and i have put 90% of thoes miles within the first year of geting my lisence....my other one came with 136,036 and now it has 136,128...i just put on the cam gear but i didnt nothice nothing...Originally Posted by 89l_x_i

still running strong?
gooddaaammmn, but i got 242,XXX and it pulls pretty good. I got a valve cover grommet leak, and i dunno i have a bad feeling about my rear main seal.....
uhhhh
186K with ALOT of work in it, nothing deep into the engine though
Went over on my last oil change, went 4500 miles, was down maybe a quarter quart, the oil starts at the top of the top hole in the dipstick, and after 4500 miles, it was down just to the bottom of the top hole in the dipstick. Not too shabby.
Just wish this car had some freakin balls though..... lol.
Really makes my other three feel like race cars after driving the blue wonder all week back and forth to work. Oh yeah, one of them really IS a race vehicle LOL But anything I drive feels fast compared to the old accord lol.![]()
