    Vehicle Weight?

Whats the weight of these cars. I have a 88 DX and the sticker in the driver door jam area says it weighs GVWR 3485 LBS, but i could have sworn that i see other people post here and on cardomain that it weighs 2500 LBS.

To me 3485 LBS is a lot for this little car. Our new 05 accord V6 weighs 4800 LBS and that thing drives like a barge.

    Re: Vehicle Weight?

oh, so thats the weight if there were 850 lbs of person in the car. 3485 - 850 = 2635lbs.

That makes much more sence now. Thanks

GVWR is gross weight. Thats fully loaded to the cars maximum capacity. Curb weight is the car empty with no gas in the tank. At least I think so...

    Re: Vehicle Weight?

Does curb weight also include the exclusion of oil/anitfreeze/windshieldwiper/transmission/brake and power steering fluids as well?

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Wow, that's absolutely amazing-that car does not look like it's 20 years old!
