Good mileage on my 1200 mile trip!

Took the car from Fort Worth, through Clovis NM, then down to Roswell NM, and back to Fort Worth, and staying around 75 MPH on the hiway I was averaging about 31MPG. WAY up from the 20-22 I was getting before I just wired the choke wide open LOL.

Oh, and the car was loaded down with me, the wife, our kid, all our kid's toys and a DVD player, all our bags and clothes, and a big cooler of drinks and snacks (took up the whole front seat lol). Not too bad for a 17 year old car!

yeah yesterday i put close to 150 miles....and it only used up 3/5th of my tank but i was flying in some zone...going 115mph.....i like Fuel injection it flys...and this is for me for going that fast on a freeway

I avg almost 34mpg around town but I wouldnt complain about 31 on the hwy for a 17 yr old carb's car

well.... worst mileage i've ever gotten with my civic was 30....

Best was 35.... and that was with me beating on it around town.

word.. i love the power gain from my 88lx to my 89 lxi it's more than just FI though.. the 89 FI engine is actually rated at higher HP than the 88 FI one (at least according to chilton's manual)

are you running lean? or on 3 cyl? cuz that is too damn good for a 3gee....unless you have it stiped or something...i would be lucky if i got 40mpg...i get around 350 miles per tank so its like 30mpg
