    Average price to lower?

Whats the average price to lower about 1.5". I've gon to a few sites but most of them don't have prices and I want to know how much for everything needed(the springs, and struts). Can someone recomend a brand(I'm a little lost.)? Thanks for your time.

frantik got thoes already...they went fast. the springs will be like 150 and the sturts like 200 since the tokicos are like 10-15% stiffer than original so they will handle better with lowerd springs

hell yeah it is!! thats why bought em like 30 minutes after first seeing the listing haha

you can get a full set of tokicos for $220 shipped from ebay.. then it's another $150 - 200 for your spirings. h&R or tokico brand springs are pretty good from people's reviews

    Re: Average price to lower?

coilovers are going to be too stiff for tokicos though.. and if you drop it much more than 1.5" you've also got to include the cost of a camber kit which i dont know the price of but i think it's 100+

    Re: Average price to lower?

I don't plan to drop it more than 1.5 so I think coilovers are overkill. Dang that was a sweet deal on those springs too bad they are gone, oh well time to start saving pennies.

it all depends on what exactly youre expecting from lowering, it can be as cheap as $250 to around $1000.

    Re: Average price to lower?

well if you really want cheap you could get just a super cheap set of coilovers and replace your stock springs and call it a day... course the ride quality will suck ass and the shocks will be blown nice and quick. or you could spend over $1000 if you got revalved bilsteins and expensive springs.. didnt someone pay like 900 just for the shocks?

Right now i'm $375 in and i havent gotten rear shocks yet :\

    Re: Average price to lower?

Well this will be my set up here in a couple weeks

Tokico Blues (Front and rear): $219.00 shipped
H&R Sport Springs (Front and rear): $153.48 shipped

Still looking for a lower rear and frong tie bar and a rear sway bar

As far as Eibach, I dunno. Depending on how long you plan on keeping your car at that level of loweredness, I'd shoot for H&R's. A number of members have reported dropping and loss of spring rates (especially in the rear springs). I have not heard anything negative thus far from the H&R's. Had I not heard about the Eibach's news, I would of been the owner of the ones that frantik bought.

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

    Re: Average price to lower?

not to toot my own horn but https://www.3geez.com/forum/showthrea...ete+suspension

for conservative springs and tokico shocks you come to: $405
for springs and shocks + ST swaybars you come to: $669
for springs, shocks, swaybars and justins front and rear upper strut bars: $789.58

so really, unless your going crazy with konis or revalved bilsteins suspension shouldnt cost you any more than 900 bucks (not including brakes)

yeah i read those reviews before i ordered it but decided to go for it anyways... i had been hoping to score a set of used springs for around 100 so when i saw a set brand new in box i couldnt resist, even if they werent the brand i'd prefer (ie hr or tokico)

justins front and rear upper strut bars
if they were still available you mean DC front strut bars are available for about 150 from a few sites though
