    Exclamation Headlight motor turning itself...

I was hearing this clicking noise this morning and i popped my hood and i listend to hear where the noise was coming from andi popped off the manual turning knob for my headlights and i found that its turning itself. Which drained my battery i couldn't figure out how to get it to stop besides removing the + battery cable. Does anyone know what could fix this?

there is probably a short in the wire somewhere, or a switch triggering it all the time, like sum kinda sensor when its up, im not 80% sure as i dont have pop-ups

Until you figure out where it's shorting, just take out the labeled fuse from the fusebox next to your battery.

One of my motors used to do the same thing. Turned out that one of the light assemblies had a bent frame and the didn't come up all the way. The motor kept trying to put it in the right place. So I had to give it a push to set it in place. But if both light motors are doing this, then it is probably a short.
