    Fuel Supply - Pressure

    Hello,

It's been awhile since been here and I'm in need of another piece of advice.

I checked other threads and didn't see any that may apply to my situation so here goes.........

The engine needs tuned up but it idles OK and runs at higher speeds just fine. But if you crack the throttle fast, the engine will die. It will also "buck" under shifting at a load or applying the gas quickly, generally at 1500 ~ 1800 rpm but when excelerating steadly its OK. The refubished fuel pump is 2 years old, the FIs are origanal.

I checked Paul Design manuals and couldn't find a "fuel filter". Where is the Fuel Filter located in a 1988 Honda Accord LXI (hatch back). Please don't mistake this with the fuel sock under the pump.

I'm in a locale where I can't get the pressure guages out and ect, so please try to help me with logic.

    Thanks in advance

    DNC

the fuel filter should be in the engine bay against the firewall on the left side and the fuel pressure relief valve is on top of it it's just two bolts on top of a black canister (just follow the black fuel line from your fuel rail towards the firewall) someone correct me if im wrong but thats how it is on my 87 lxi
