    Question SPC performance LCA?

    Just saw these on Nopi.

SPC performance, a company I have never heard of makes some pretty nice looking rear lower control arms for our cars, or so nopi says.

Anyone ever seen these or tried em?

Be careful with nopi, they sold military mase and I rear lower ploy bushings that didnt fit our cars. They were for the 4g accord. When I called and asked them about it, they told me they got the info from the company. I saw those, but I am a little weary to buy them.

Hmm I've never actually seen the 3gees' rear LCA. I've seen the rear UCA and rear trailing arm. Anyways, $81 bux is not bad. Hopefully they make more aluminum suspension parts for the 3gee. A pair of LCA's is not gonna do much good on the suspension by themselves. Would be a waste of money.

Yeah, the only thing I could think of is that that's not a LCA, that's the trailing arm (Figure # 19).

In that case, I'm down for a set of lighter trailing arms!

That would be sick, but I highly doubt they would make that for our car. If they did, I would not hesitate to buy a set.

Well, I'm not jumping to conclusions myself. Looks like it's missing a few bolt holes and sway bar endlink holes to be confirmed as being the trailing arm. I wish they put the dimensions of that thing on their site. Like you said, watch out for Nopi. Looks can be deceiving when it comes to them, I guess.

    Re: SPC performance LCA?

that shim trick works. i'd get longer bolts though just to be safe. if i remember correctly they are 14mm bolts with fine thread (1.25mm thread pitch).

    Re: SPC performance LCA?

Is this the same company on ebay offering Rear adjustable upper control arms for $149.00 if so sounds like they are putting some R&D for the 3rd gen maybe because its an easy R&D project.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I was thinking about trying a set of these.

    We'll see.

    Re: SPC performance LCA?

i would say that the 1st link in the thread is for a trailing arm

neither LCA looks anything like that or has as many holes for bolts as that does

so id say im 98% sure they are trailing arms

    *edit*
im gonna look at my trailing arms on my SEi setup i have in the garage tomorrow and make sure
