air intake hose. What kind of hose do you use?

What kind of hose do you use to make your own air intake? The hose that you hook up to the cone filter. Is it the same hose you hook up to a dryer? One of those air duct hoses? please help me out

That'll work. You just need something thats reinforced so it wont collapse under vacuume. Honestly I have seen a few race cars that use that aluminum insulated dryer vent hose for intakes.

Its some pic I dug up of a dryer hose intake. Its a h22a shoved into a 92 civic. Thats all I know about it. Click it, it takes you to the page I stole it from, not that there is any info on that page about it. It was on sds's home page, one of the companies I am thinking about going with for an ecu for my corolla.
