    Talking LXI rims

89 LXI rims will go on my 89 LX no prob right? because I need to replace my speed sensor, cause mine kinda... um broke while I was dropping my engine in and the only sensor I can get is off an LXI... so I figure I may as well get the rims to so my speedo matches up nicely... just wanted to check before I did anything...

Not a problem as long as the LXI rims still have a stock tire size on them, 195/60-14. If not tell me what size they are.
H&R springs revalved Bilstein front struts, koni struts in the rear 195/55-15 Dunlop W-10's Dc Sports header custom cat-back with Dynomax super turbo w/3" Brembo slotted & dimpled rotor's EBC pads
Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.

They should. They are an inch bigger than the LX rims (14 v. 13), but the bolt pattern and all that is the same, so new tires as well. I think what you're saying is you want the MPH and odometer to be accurate because you're upsizing. That is cool because I know all these folks putting different size rims on do not adjust (if you can) that part. Hence, an inaccurate MPH and odo. Maybe a physics stud could explain rotational stuff and translation into MPH. I'm dumb at teh pahysics.

185/70-13 and 195/60-14 have the same rolling diameter hence no speedo error.

If the tire size on the 89LXI alloys isn't 195/60-14, that is when you will see some speedo error, depending on tire size.

Speedo error would be corrected at the tranny not at the custer.

The sensor that broke comes directly off of the tranny.... hence I have no speedometer... which in a way is good, I can drive fast and no one knows it >
