so is the bar right over the plenum? I wonder if we could do an X brace set up for you Chris and have it mount to the firewall as well.

i wonder if we can do that with the stock carbed car with stock intake so we can remove the back bar and run it to the fire wall

well... i sold mkymonkey my rear one, i traced it before i shipped it, the bar is 27" long
and the parts that bolt to the strut you can play by ear, i'm going to make one for my car, as soon as i can find some of that bar they use. or maybe 3/8" steel bar we'll see.

I was going to the other day but registration is due on the Honda and on my Truck and so is the Insurance

well you probably get paid in what 2 weeks? im sure you have more time than that. last time he made these it took over a month for people to get theirs. once the guy gets going im pretty sure he can pop out about ten full sets like he said and we only have 3 people that have sent money so that leaves 7 sets available. just save your pennies till then

i haven't held the bar up to the engine bay, but I can tell you I am worried about my hood even closing WITHOUT the bar... hehe but from what I can tell with my aftermarket manifold with shorter runners, it would be directly over the plenum. we should definitely get together some time to try and fab up an X brace of some sort. the bar feels real good on the front end.

btw its tough to change axles with your front lower bar, we couldnt get in between the inside end of the axle and the tranny to pry the shaft out. lol just made it a bit akward. i guess thats the price you pay for custom suspension tie bars! lol
