Exclamation Carb Cold Start Choke Issues...

Hi guys, I have a few questions but the big one is my choke. I just wrapped up a complete engine rebuild and did a vaccum line removal as per A20A1's stage 1 removal diagram. I've noticed in the past few days when my engine is dead cold (next morning) my choke doesn't bring the rpm's up to 1500 and it makes driving while its cold very interesting, stalling at first when the throttle is let off then it just idles near the stall point until the engine is a bit hot then everything is great. When hot and temp is up it idles fine. Is there an adjustment or something? I triple checked my vaccum routing and all. The carb was also rebuilt. Any ideas guys?

Well choke doesn't bring up the idle, the fast idle is what ups the idle... though there is some connection between them.

Did you keep all the parts you removed from the carb?

Is the hot air door still hooked up?

It uses the vaccum lines inside the air cleaner. Grab #8 and connect it to manifold vaccum from the air cleaner.

It's the vaccum line hignlighted in Yellow.

Thanks. Do you have a picture or diagrasm showing the fast idle lines and the mechanism on the carb that does it. Thank you.
