My wrecked 89 Hatch (pictures)! 56k no!

Yah, I sold the bike back in January for $2600. Paid $3600 and put 6000 miles on it. I only owed $1600 on the bike, so I made a thousand off it when I sold it. BTW, I've put well over $6,000 or more into my 3gee not including the $2500 I paid for it.

yay progress is comming along good now all ya need is a headlight setup for it whys the bumper all fugly? the crash didnt look like it done any damage to it other than paint. well at least now it doesnt even look like its been in a bad crash like that. im still surprised and glad how ya decided to fix it instead of dump it wish we had the motivation to do that to my car.

It's crazy how you take things for granted. I am excited to be almost done with getting her back to normal. I found a parts car, and am getting the rest for 35 bucks.

nice....i was talking to my uncle about the 50 buck paint job since he is a body man.....he has like a 100 gallon compresor and a SATA gun....i still have to read up on it cuz he was like do you roll it on and put clear.....anyways good luck on the rest

get some heavy duty sink oxide paint and give the car a coat of it. i sujest any of you guys that are doing major body work do this will help to prevent it from rusting out

I've been busy with my new little girl, so I haven't had much time to work on the car, and cash fundages are running low.

In her prestine beauty, I could just cry she was so beautiful.


Well, here they are:

These are a picture of a picture, so they are poor quality.
Got in the wreck April 11th, rear end with a small truck. Screwed up the radiator, fender, headlight bucket. Amazingly the front bumper is fine as well as the supports. Crazy shit!

I cut out the bad spot, added a new driver's side fender, all new engine mounts, new radiator, rebuilt engine and new clutch. Just needs a new headlight area and new hood and she's good to go. Oh, and added an 87 integra lip. YUMMY!

Yay, I got the front clip today for $40 from some dude with a parts car. Now I just need a headlight and to weld that chunk of metal onto my car.

Yeah u need one? What's one worth anyway? And do you need motor and all or just the flip up part of the headlight? PM me and we'll figure it out. I'm shipping out a big box of parts on Monday for another fella, and I can ship yours out then too.

Stripped the clip of shit. Now I need to cut off and trim it up to fit perfectly. Then I'll shoot it black to match everything. I'll have some pictures in the next two weeks after I get the headlight housing and get everything cut and mounted. I'll then weld it when I find someone to weld it.

As you can see, this clip is bent up a little. The donor car was hit in the front, but for 1/3 price ($40) I got it anyways. The salvage yard wanted $130 for this clip with the headlight. So I got a headlight for $30. So for $70 it's getting done. It will bend out with some elbow grease, I'm sure. I'm not even using half of that shit.

I bought an hvlp gun and I'm going to paint it this spring when it starts to warm up again. I bought a spoiler on ebay this week and I'm waiting for it to show up. I'll have pictures of it on the car next week. I'd call you and come over and hang out, but when I'm not at work I'm babysitting all the time.

Sanded the hood down today. It was really dusty. I probably sneezed 50 times.
Now just for some body filler to make her all smooth.

Just need to fix the dent on this passenger fender and both fenders are done.

My spoiler, headlight, led's/circuit boards (it's a secret), and corner light should be here later this week or early next week........can't wait!!!! I am going to get a brand new front bumper in October for my own birthday present. Hey I have to have an exuse to buy one, so my wife won't bitch at me right?

Looks like ALOT of work ahead of ya. If you take your time and do alot of measuring it should all weld in nice and straight.
